
Come celebrate with Mayor Steve Bach at this Friday’s
Spirit of the Springs Winter Rally..
The rally is being sponsored by the Antlers Hilton and will take place in the Summit Ballroom on Friday, Feb. 17, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Antlers Hilton is located at 4 S. Cascade Avenue. Admission is free of charge and parking in the Antlers garage will be validated. .
Mayor Bach will welcome the crowd and then turn over the stage to performances by the Taiko Society (Japanese-style drumming), Colorado Springs Conservatory, Harrison and Sierra High School Cheerleaders, Sweet Adelines' nVision Quartet, and Colorado Springs Children's Chorale. Throughout the course of the event, Mayor Bach will also update the community on his progress and plans for the Spirit of the Springs’ three main focus areas: Celebrate and connect Colorado Springs; cultivate future City government leadership; and engage retirees.

At his swearing in-ceremony, Mayor Bach described his vision to encourage individuals and families to connect with the best our community had to offer and to share of themselves and make our City even better. He called his wide-ranging vision the “Spirit of the Springs.”
On Sept. 16, 2011, Mayor Bach announced his Spirit of the Springs initiatives at a community pep rally at Pioneers Museum.
