The Colorado Springs Police Department Awards were held on Thursday, January 26, 2012 to recognize heroic and noteworthy actions taken by many during 2011.

“It’s important as we evolve as a community that we, as citizens, all step forward and help our police department,” Mayor Steve Bach said at the ceremony.
