Wednesday, November, 2, 2011 1:00 PM [RELEASE AT WILL]:

On 10/25/2011, at approximately 8:00 am, a 12 year old female was violently assaulted in the area of 400 East Brookside Street.

As initially reported, the victim was walking to her school bus stop when she was grabbed by a stranger. Although she struggled to free herself, she was overpowered by the suspect and physically and sexually assaulted.

The suspect was observed in the area 1 – 2 hours preceding the assault.

The attached “composite sketch” was produced from victim and witness memory.

Please pay close attention to the following descriptions:

Suspect: White male with pale skin, 20 – 28 years of age, 5’6” tall with short brown hair.

Suspect Clothing: Black sunglasses, a dirty/worn dark brown baseball cap with yellow writing, a puffy black jacket with a forest green plaid lining, a gray hooded sweatshirt underneath his jacket, baggy blue jeans and a gold necklace that hung about mid chest.

Suspect Vehicle: None. The suspect appeared to be on foot.
